Description

This Mountain Chickadee was foraging by hopping on the outer twigs and branches of my Colorado Blue Spruce tree. He hung upside down to eat the seeds he had gleaned from the underside branches & needles- see the seed in his mouth? Held my breath that the setting sun would give enough light to capture this moment!
