A sharp-shinned hawk came in our backyard to take a bath in our stream. It stayed for a long on the side of the stream, observing. Of course, you could not hear another bird, The backyard was silent except for a distracted squirrel that pass near the hawk. The hawk hissed and the squirrel fled. After a while, the hawk went to stand in the water. Finally it took its bath. It stayed in the water a long time compared to other bird bath time, maybe 10 minutes.
