I have canopies over the outside of my doors, so, in addition to my regular nectar feeders, I put up little hummingbird feeders beneath the door canopies, both to shade them from the sun, as well as, for those stormy days — the hummers regularly take shelter and roost on those feeders during our heavy rains.
