This is the third year the Western Tanager has returned to winter in the area. The first year male Baltimore Oriole first appeared at a suet feeder on January 22, 2025 on the day after a 7 inch snowfall and a drop in temperature to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It has shown up sporadically since and finally on a feeder count day
