I want to thank you for sharing your consistently excellent photos on the FeederWatch participant photo site. Your sharp, close-ups, in addition to being nice to view, allow me to study eastern species in detail not readily available in field guides. I’m particularly interested in your photos of White-breasted Nuthatches. As you may know, there’s a chance that three current sub-species may be raised to species status based on differences in their song and plumage. Two of those sub-species occur along the front range in Colorado, and their plumage differences are subtle. Your photos give me a chance to study the eastern sub-species in detail. Thanks.
