I need help identifying this bird. It’s about the sizes of a sparrow and came to my bird feeder in Mill Valley CA on 7-16-2020

Hi Richard, This is likely a juvenile Dark-eyed Junco – the Oregon subspecies. They look very unlike the adults when they first fledge the nest. Take a look at some photos here to see what you think.
