Description

Even though there is no barrier between the woods and my yard, Wild Turkeys have rarely come close to my house, but when they have entered the yard they have always come in numbers. This was the first time that a single Wild Turkey has shown up.

Last week a lone wild turkey pecking under our bird feeder in our NW Ohio rivers edge back yard. This turkey was white with black stripes! Weird. Tried but failed to get a good picture Looked it up online and found out it is called a “snow phase” wild turkey. He/She roosted high up in a tree near the river for 2 consecutive nights then moved on.
