As if on cue, the day before Thanksgiving, a number of Wild Turkeys pass through my yard and into the bordering woods.

They were hungry, grateful and calm.. and.. lovely… and thanks….
They are really quite beautiful birds, I had never seen wild turkeys before..
What are they eating,? I do hope these will be protected,, because,, they are very stunning birds.. Are there visual différences between wild turkeys, and turkeys who might have fled from breeders..? Cheers,, for these pictures, Bob..
