Description

For the first time ever, some Wilson’s warblers paid me a visit, & I have a newer camera!
With it’s 60X zoom, I can get really really close to birds as long as they aren’t too far away.
This little yellow bird is declining because of us. We are destroying their winter home in the tropics by cutting down & burning it for pasture, palm oil, wood products etc all for PROFIT.
I used a Nikon cool-pix P610 that has a zoom lens that goes from 24mm to 1440mm!

Wilson’s Warbler On The Hunt.

This is a very CUTE little Wilson's warbler. It was hunting for insects in a Salmon berry by the rear deck. This is either a female or a immature male because the cap is not black.
