I was thrilled to have uncommon Woodhouse’s Scrub-Jays, an adult and a juvenile, in late fall of 2020 for many weeks! I don’t know what is hanging from this one’s beak while he was feeding in my FeederWatch area / my yard. They are here year round! 2023 E-bird sightings report a sighting of two on Feb 3rd, at Lake Pueblo Swallows, which is 4.2 miles away from my home.
