Not wanting any bird other than himself to access the nearby nectar feeder, this young male Ruby-throated hummer selected a favorite stake-out location in a tree, ready to attack any and all interlopers who dared try to use HIS feeder. And while he staked out the feeder, I put up a blind and staked out his position… he made it too easy!
