What’s wrong with this set of photos?
They show a male hairy wp taking a catnap @ 6:30 pm in a light rain on the trunk of a hemlock about 4 feet from the ground.
(Incidentally, this is the home and the killing zone of Little Elf, America’s oldest feral cat.)
I waited with my wife Ann – carefully moving outdoors and sitting on the side steps – for the bird to wake up. A deep sleep! The bird was unaware we were there, about 10 feet away.
…Ann was first to see the bird and call me to it.
Ann’s is now a full-fledged member of the Real PFWatchers.
