Participant Photo: A mixture of birds

With mature trees that surround the property, as well as a good water sources and flowering bushes to hide in, we drawn all kinds of birds. My year-round favorite is the California Scub-Jay with its emergency alarm call. We have Nuttall’s Woodpeckers; Mourning Doves; White-Crowned Sparrows; Golden-Crowned Sparrows; Bewick’s Wren, etc. Our yearly Yellow-rumped Warbler returned as did our White-throated Sparrow (if only I could get a picture).
