Participant Photo: A Murder of Crows
Additional images:
November 14th morning I was surprised by a Murder of crows that landed in our meadow and the pasture fields next door…there were around 200 crows in the flock. I grabbed my camera, of course, but all the nearer birds in our meadow, about half the total number, flew off as I stepped out onto the porch, so the birds in these photos are those that remained in the adjoining fields…but still over 90 birds. I don’t know if you can count them in the small, low-res shots I’m sending, but in the full sized photos I was able to count about 40 crows in the tree, and around 95 birds in the wide shot. That’s some Murder!
