Participant Photo: A Patient Predator
This Sharp-shinned hawk was waiting patiently on the pear tree that is right next to our feeding station. Our regular bird visitors usually perch here while they wait their turns to eat. We see him pretty regularly and have observed him snatching at least one Common grackle.
