After I saw this picture and realized the Robin was standing so comfortably on one leg–I did some reading.It was a warm day ,so I doubted he was keeping warm. Maybe just resting? I never saw another leg. But I found this interesting fact.
When a bird rests on one leg, the foot that is standing is actually positioned right below the center of gravity of the torso of the bird.
