This is the first year we have had a large birdbath. It is also the first year we have had up to thirty or more Robins rotating in and out of the birdbath, perching in the surrounding trees, and entertaining us with their antics. Conflicts at the birdbath do arise, as shown in the second photo.

In the second photo is two females so its unlikely territory. They are most likely fighting over the bird bath.
