Participant Photo: Anna’s Hummingbird Male
This male hummingbird can be found daily in his favorite spot in the middle of a Texas Ranger bush near the feeders. He guards “his” territory by flying directly at those who trespass, often driving them away. Occasionally, though, he is seen sharing the feeder with an Orange-crowned warbler or a Verdin.
