Participant Photo: Barred owl
This is the second time I’ve seen a barred owl and assume it is the same bird I saw 2-3 weeks ago. It made several attempts to catch one of the tree squirrels from several perches, including in my main feeder pole. Although it came close, alas, it did not succeed in catching a squirrel.
