This beautiful Barred Owl was spotted while on a hike through the wooded part of the Great Swamp. At first we saw lots of owl pellets scattered around. One looked recent so I stated, “the owl must still be here.” After that the Barred Owl was spotted while scanning the pine trees. The guardian of the pine groves, the beautiful Barred Owl.
