Participant Photo: Barred Owl sitting on a very small tree alongside the road
About 3:45 in the afternoon I happened to spot this beautiful owl perched on a small tree near the edge of the road. It just sat there and let me take pictures of it. It looked at me once and then went back to his contemplations.
