Participant Photo: Beautiful Northern Cardinal
I put alot of food down for the birds even though I have seven different feeders. I have noticed over the years that sometimes the female Cardinals like to blend in on the ground and eat, which is what is happening in this photo. She is eating a black sunflower seed.
