Nutley, New Jersey got hit with 20 inches of snow over two days. While shoveling (under watchful eyes of birds) I decided to shovel out where the bird feeder normally goes to help the birds that were looking for the feeder. I wasn’t sure if they would use the feeder with the snow around it, but word got out fast. By the end of the day, the feeder was empty. They were hungry!
