On October 3, 2021, a huge flock of Rusty Blackbirds stopped at my house- at least I think they were Rusty Blackbirds, since I can’t imagine what other type would be in this part of the country. I have a large meadow in front of my house where the bulk of the flock landed, but this group of a little over a hundred of them landed in my backyard and ate whatever they could find before the entire flock moved on again.
