The Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) is somewhat of a bother, being a big bird that gobbles a lot of seeds at one sitting, but when you lay out a feast, you can’t be picky about which guests come to enjoy it, even when they are just eating the seeds scattered beneath the feeders in a snow.
