Participant Photo: Bumper crop of choke cherries leads to many fall visitors
Several hermit thrushes (please correct me if needed) spent a lot of time in a wild choke cherrie tree ‘choked’ with fruit. It was fun watching them trying to eat berries that were on twigs too slender to perch on!
I took this photo with my phone through binoculars.
