Burrowing Owl in an old ground squirrel burrow. Palo Corona Regional Park. This large park is directly across the Carmel River from my complex. I’ve seen Great-horned and Barn Owls in the park, but this is the first Burrowing Owl I’ve found there. Hope it finds a mate.
