Participant Photo: Bushtits

By my count, there are at least 19 Bushtits on this peanut feeder. Bushtits are relatively new to urban Denver, moving into town over the last 20 years or so and now breeding in multiple neighborhoods. They are regular visitors to our backyard feeders. Several in this flock are partially black-eared as was the case with the 2022 flock that visited our yard.
