Participant Photo: Carolina Wrens spend the winter

These Carolina Wrens are one of my favorite winter visiters. This is the second year that I have had them spending time in my holly bush and schrubs around the house. The two consume about 2 lbs of dried mealworms through the winter. Worms are placed in a covered feeder as well as sprinkeled in plant pots, on the poarch and placed in a pocket in the evergreen wreath on the front window.
