Participant Photo: Chestnut-backed chickadee
Unusual visitor to my backyard, showing off his chestnut back. Was with 2 black-capped chickadees, as is often the case. Noticed his different color and waited for him to return as I held steady my Canon SX720HS at 40X. He only came back once and was off again, so I feel lucky to have captured him in a spot of sun in Seattle.

Repeat after me, Ellen captured a case of a Chestnut- backed chickadee caught by her Canon, it was a case of contrast and color, whiich she was able to capture.
