Participant Photo: Colorado High Prairie Feeder Site
Additional images:
Here in the high desert of Colorado the landscape is quite plain this time of year, except for the Rocky Mts in the distance. The grays and browns of our local birds blend right in. There aren’t many colorful birds here like so many I am enjoying on this site, but we love watching the quail run around the neighborhood and spend time trying to figure out how to eat from the feeder.
