Participant Photo: Common Redpoll
I have not had common redpolls in my backyard here in SE Michigan for over ten years. Imagine my surprise when I saw this male redpoll patiently waiting in a spruce tree for his turn at the window feeder while the female and a goldfinch were taking a turn there!
