    • I agree. You can tell because of the patterning on the back, Red-shouldered Hawks have checkered black and white while Cooper’s Hawks have a pretty much solid gray/brown back.

        Also, the Red-shouldered Hawk has a dark belly. The Cooper’s has an orange belly but has whitish on it.
