Participant Photo: Coopers Hawk in the Pine Tree
This Coopers Hawk is the first I’ve ever seen at my feeder. The hawk quickly snatched a bird and ate it in the shrubs nearby. The only evidence of his visit was a sorry little pile of feathers. This pick shows the bird with a little feather in its beak.
