Participant Photo: Deformed Purple Finch
The Purple Finch had just a small part of its lower beak, but it didn’t appear to be bothered very much by the deformity. It DID choose to eat at a tray feeder with sunflower seed hearts, rather than a feeder with hulled seeds.
