   The first photo shows a Hairy Woodpecker (longer bill, larger), not a Downy (shorter bill, smaller).

     Thanks Zachary, I have had many Downys visit over the last year, but I think this is my first for Hairy. I will looker closer next time.

   Thanks Zachary, I have had a family of Downys for a year or so. This is actually my first with a Hairy–I will look more closely from now on.
