Put out a pan of fresh water every day, and make sure it stays clean.
Some times this attracts birds even more then good food.
We live in Battle Creek Michigan.
That means dealing with sub zero temperatures.
I put out fresh clean water every day, regardless of the weather or temperature.
It is worth it.
