Participant Photo: Eastern Screech-owl – new addition to our count site

We have been doing FeederWatch for over 10 years at our lake front home. I have several feeder areas and count in both the front and lake side yard. This year I have a screech-owl in an owl box located in a large native oak tree near one of the feeding areas. I have put us a flat tray and feed Sir Owlton mealy worms in it. The other birds have chased him into the box but they all have different times and it seems to work out for all the yard birds.
