Participant Photo: End of the day rush
My husband attached this log to our second floor deck and drilled holes in the top so I could fill them with chopped peanuts. The natural split on the side of the log was perfect to fill with peanut butter, extra chunky of course. As you can see, this is a popular feeding spot. The white-crowned sparrows, doves (Eurasian-collared and Mourning), juncos, bewick’s wren, scrub jays, juncos and titmice are just a few birds that come daily for a treat.
