As winter came to a close, one particular Barred Owl started frequenting the feeder. It was observed hanging out above the feeder most afternoons, from 4:30ish until after dark. Based on my observations, I believe it was after rodents, scurrying under the snowpack, and not the songbirds visiting the feeder.
