Participant Photo: Female Bluebird visits a feeder on a bad day

On the first really bad winter’s day, when a freezing rain iced over everything, this female Eastern Bluebird sought sustenance at one of my feeders. The wintering-over Bluebirds have been using my feeders for the past three years, so I expect that I will see them more often as the winter intensifies.
