Participant Photo: Female Eastern Towhee

She’s been hanging around our yard since mid December, when this photo was taken. I only see her after it has snowed. She appears and scratches for black oil sunflower seeds under our numerous bird feeders. She was here as recently as yesterday, Jan.19, 2014. I’ve taken numerous photos, this is the best.
