Participant Photo: Female Northern Cardinal with Injured/Malformed Leg & Foot

I’ve been seeing this cardinal at the feeder off and on for the last few months. I’m not sure what happened to her leg/foot but she seems to got along just fine, perching on her good leg and getting seed out of the feeder like other birds.

It looks like she has her leg tucked in. She probably hurt it somehow.
