The little American Goldfinch may have left the nest and is able to follow its parent to a feeder, but it still hasn’t gotten into the habit of feeding itself…at least not when it can vibrate its wings and stimulate dad to respond to its begging.

Thanks, Laura. I only wish that I had had better light – the sun had not yet gotten over the trees – so I could have taken higher resolution photos.
