Participant Photo: Friendly neighbor

This northern mockingbird hangs out all around our property. Although I can’t be certain it is always the exact same bird, it seems that it spends time on our property in spurts. In the spring, it sang and sang for weeks perched on our antennae and electric poles. Now this fall, it can be seen perching in the remnants of my sunflower patch and in our evergreen trees.
