Participant Photo: Fun Photo, Gray Squirrel mining for seeds in discarded pumpkins
Additional images:
Gray Squirrels everywhere. I have up to a dozen very plump Grays in my back yard on a daily basis. Feed mostly on the cracked corn put down for the ground birds, ducks etc. These squirrels are very heavy, corn fed, critters.
Placed two pumpkins into the mix and the squirrels have been “mining” the pumpkins for the seeds. One has no problem fitting most of his body inside. Great entertainment!
