Participant Photo: Giving Chase

This photo was taken on May 3rd. Shortly after I saw the Brown Thrasher in my yard, I looked up and saw a squirrel chasing the bird. I was surprised! Also, it’s been a number of years since I’ve seen a Brown Thrasher in my yard. I have seen one several times since this photo was taken.

I wonder what prompted the squirrel to chase the Brown Thrasher. I’m happy I was taking photos in my yard and was able to capture this.
