Participant Photo: Hawk in Elysian Park

I was walking with my friend, Laurea, and we saw the hawk, and I tried to aim my camera towards him, and I thought for sure I missed him because he immediately flew off the branch. I don’t even know how I captured this image. It was only later when I looked at my phone that I saw the image. I do not consider myself a photographer – I do love taking pictures (I’ve had no training) and I love noticing the owls and hawks in Echo Park on my walks in Elysian Park.
