A male House Finch came to inspect a holiday wreath on my deck. A few minutes later the female came; they both went inside the opening in the wreath and returned several times but they have not been back since. I am hoping they return to build their nest. Last year around mid March they built a nest in a different wreath and had a family of 5 and left on Mother’s Day.
