Participant Photo: House Finch Male

Although I am only ten years old, I have loved birds for as long as I can remember. I love waking up every morning before the homeschool starts and watch the birds through the window as they flock our feeder. Occasionally, I am lucky enough to snap interesting photographs of them. One day, as one curious House Finch was pecking at the seeds, it suddenly stopped, looked up and winked at me. I was mesmerized!
